SCOTT PITONIAK: Future of Trent Edwards

ESPN is reporting that the Bills are shopping Edwards around. I know there is a dearth of good quarterbacks in the league, but I can’t see Edwards having much trade value. I think they’ll be lucky to get a fourth- or fifth-round pick for him. The change of venue will be good for both him and the team. It’s clear that his time in Buffalo is over.
