A book unlike any other celebrating Buffalo Bills football has just been released, and any serious fan has to flip through it.
Our good friend Scott Pitoniak, a locally acclaimed sportswriter, poured through all sorts of Bills archive material and has, along with Whitman Publishing, put together Buffalo Bills Football Vault: The First 50 Seasons.
As part of the book, there are replica items celebrating all sorts of great Bills moments, from ticket stubs, press passes to game program covers.
"It's kind of a combination of a scrapbook and photo album type book with a extra twist throw in there, and that is having sleeves with replica artifacts interspersed throughout the book," said Pitoniak. "You and I, we've covered super bowl's, we keep our press credentials, that are important to us and that sort of thing. The fan, with this book, can have a replica press pass from the Super Bowl or a replica ticket, say from the comeback game."
The book sells for $50. Click here for a link to the book on the Bills official online store.
On Wednesday, July 14th, Pitoniak and Thurman Thomas will be signing the book at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The signing session will last from 6 to 7 p.m.
