"There's just something about the clay, the moving of the clay, the building of it, the formation of clay," said Pavel.
But it's not just about dollars and cents. It's about his vision and passion - and rich imagination. Pavel has learned to go with the flow as he builds his art by hand.
"I was making a cup and it broke down and I looked at it and I saw this beautiful motion in it. You could never sell it but I really like it," said Pavel.
His teachers say Pavel inspires his peers.
"I want to see him teach college ceramics. I think he would absolutely wonderful with it," said art teacher Julia Mullane. "He gives good advice to students. I think he's a natural teacher."
Pavel belongs to the Youth Entrepreneur Academy. Community leders were so impressed with his business, they invested more than $1,000 into FGG.
Next year, Pavel will attend Alfred University and study art and education. His goal is to teach art, make art, and make a living selling his creations. He's off to a great start.
