Changhee Lee is an exceptional artist. This Waterloo High School senior has already been accepted into the Eastman School of Music. It's his college-bound dream, and proudest achievement to date.

"It's a high honor for me and I'm humbled by it," said Changhee, who plays trumpet, horn, marimba and organ. But his instrument of choice is the piano.

"The discipline that it takes, it's transferrable to other aspects of life, and it's also a lot of fun," said Changhee.

"He's an exceptional student, has unparalleled work ethic, and he's just an amazing kid," said Robert Humphrey, the band director at Waterloo. "We're going to hear a lot from Changhee for years to come."

"I'm just thankful for the gift that god has given me," said Changhee.

Changhee plans to teach music one day, and he says he'll never stop performing. As he sets out on his dream, he's playing with a level of maturity well beyond his years.
