Scott Vallow, goalkeeper. Born in Modesto, California. The team's unquestioned leader. One of it's best players for a decade. Basically, the Rhinos version of Derek Jeter, which can be good and bad.
"it's great going to Wegmans and while you're checking out, someone's coming up to you saying 'Hey, great game last night'. That's a pretty good feeling."
Worst part about being a Rhino?
"Being at a line at Wegmans and someone's coming up to you and saying, 'Hey, what happened on that goal last night?' That's the worst part."
And he's in Wegmans a lot because the man can cook - especially Mexican.
"Since we've got so much free time after training, I like to go to the grocery store almost every day, see what's fresh, see what looks good, take it home and then prepare the meal for the night."
When Vallow began his career, the goal was to play pro soccer for a decade. Well, this will be the 12th year defending the goal, and he doesn't think he's done yet.
"Goalkeepers are kinda like fine wine. They get better with age. So, mid-30's is usually when goalkeeper's peek to their top level performance. So, I still think I have a little bit to go."
