Red Wings beat Columbus 10-7

6-WINGS2008-05-14-1210802375.jpgMorning ball for the Red Wings as they had an 11: start time for their game with the Columbus Clippers at Frontier Field. Great morning to play some baseball and a great start for the Wings.


Up 2-0 in the bottom of the second Denard Span with the shot to center…two run homer…Span's third in as many days 4-0 Wings after two.


Bottom 3, Randy Ruiz with the shot to left that gets Howie Clark in and Rochester took a 5-0 lead to the 5th. Columbus would even the game at 5-5 though.


Now in the 8th Jason Pridie with the line drive to center. Tommy Watkins will test the arm ...Watkins beats the tag…part of a two run 8th.


Rochester wins 10-7.  The two teams meet again Thursday night at 7.
