
Rochester, NY, April 25, 2008— Ian Woosnam and Fuzzy Zoeller are just two of 24 more players who are committed to play at the 69th Senior PGA Championship (www.seniorpga2008.com) May 19 to 25 at Oak Hill Country Club. These additions bring the total field from 110 to 134 of out a maximum of 156. Three spots remain available for the winners of the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, FedEx Kinko’s Classic, and the Regions Charity Classic. All remaining spots in the field will be filled, in order, off of the 2008 Champions Tour money list through May 5, 2008 The field of champions and legends now includes 25 Major Champions, 11 Senior PGA Champions, 11 Masters winners, 11 US Open winners, seven Open champs, nine PGA Championship winners, 11 Ryder Cup Captains, and 12 Hall of Fame Members. Players committed to date represent 14 countries and 31 states. “Tickets sales surged last week,” said Todd Alfred, Tournament Director. “It was the biggest week in sales we have seen since our holiday promotion and I expect that to continue. Rochester already holds the number two ticket sales record, fast approaching the top Senior Championship ticket sales record-holder, the 2004 Senior PGA Championship in Valhalla.” A limited number of tickets is available.
