(Richmond, VA)  The Red Wings dropped their first game of the 2008 season losing to Richmond Friday night 4-3.  The Wings trailed heading into the 8th inning, 4-0.  Garrett Jones led off the inning with a solo home run, the Wings first of the season.  The team plated two more runs but it wasn't enough as the Braves held off the rally.  Wings starter Brian Duensing pitched 5 2/3 innings, gave up two runs and was the losing pitcher.  The Wings play Saturday and Sunday in Richmond before moving on to Norfolk for a four game series.  Next Friday, April 11th, the Wings will hold their home opener, a 7:05pm start time against Syracuse.
