Three Boys Teams Win Titles On Leap Day

At Class B, Bishop Kearney had a 17 point first half lead only to watch Mynderse whittle the margin down to seven by halftime. The Kings rebounded in the second half and rolled to a 59-42 win. At Class CC, Sean Michele scored 23 points leading East Rochester over neighboring rival Gananda 52-42. The two schools play together during football season. Michele was named game MVP. At Class C, Brent Ayers scored 33 points and was named MVP as Dundee mildly upset Harley Allendale Columbia 63-53. Anthony Simmons had 23 in a losing cause for the Wolves.
