Bills sign LB Mitchell

The Buffalo Bills signed former New York Giants linebacker Kawika Mitchell Friday.

Mitchell, 28, started all 16 games last season for the Giants, recording 87 tackles, a career-high 3 1/2 sacks and one interception. The South Florida product added two sacks in four playoff games, including one in the Giants' win over New England in the Super Bowl.

The 6-foot-1, 253-pound Mitchell spent his first four seasons with Kansas City. In five full seasons he has totaled 380 tackles, eight sacks and four interceptions in 75 career games.
