Family First opens branch at Bishop Kearney

Bishop Kearney is giving kids a real world experience right inside the school. Thursday, Family First Federal Credit Union opened a student branch. It's a first for both the school and Family First. Students have been hired and trained to work side by side with Family First staff.
"When we made changes to our curriculum this year, we knew we needed to expose our students to more real world experiences, 21st century skills and this is a perfect opportunity, a perfect collaboration," says Bishop Kearney President Donna Dedee.
The credit union is located inside the school store and will provide many of the same services officered at Family First's other branches.
