Saturday’s homicide comes a day after the United Way released results of a survey which shows violence is the top concern in Rochester neighborhoods. The United Way says in a community-wide online survey, respondents overwhelmingly say that violence and unsafe neighborhoods are the biggest challenges facing the community. Other top concerns were access to adequate food, clothing and shelter as well as high school graduation rates. According to the survey, 650 people participated.
