According to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 180 million valentines are sent through the mail each year. At Wisteria Flowers and Gifts, florists are busy putting together fresh arrangements to be delivered. Wisteria's owner Jennifer Ralph, says all the men who walk through her door are excited about doing something sweet for their sweetheart.


"The gentlemen who come in here to purchase flowers for their significant others, they think that they're ahead of the game and that they're taking really good care of their special person," says Ralph.


According to about Flowers.com, 214 million roses were given to sweethearts last year. The most popular flowers...red roses...and the second most popular…a mixed bouquet.
