Rochester Police investigating City's first homicide of 2008

Police were called out to 178 Ellison Street at about 3am Saturday morning after a call reporting a man down. When police arrived they found 28-year old Jose "Chuckie" Rivera. Police say Rivera suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Family and friends say Rivera was a funny and well-liked person. They believe he was walking home when he was shot. His body was discovered just a few houses away from where he stayed with his grandmother. An investigation is ongoing. Tune in to News8 Now and Fox First at Ten for more information.
