Could Dr. Martin Luther King ever have imagined a woman and an African-American as frontrunners for President of the United States?

That's what we asked Andrew Young, one of Dr. King's top aides, when he visited the University of Rochester Monday, on Martin Luther King day.

Young, a former U.S. Congressman, mayor of Atlanta, and the first African-American to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N, strongly believes that redeeming racial injustices of the past isn't as simple as electing a black president.

"Yes, we've come a long, long way," said Young, "but we still have a long, long way to go.  It's not just racially.  It's a socioeconomic distance."

Young said the real question that should be asked is 'which candidate will provide the best opportunities for everyone?'
