Rochester firemen hand out smoke detectors

neighborhood handing out smoke detectors. This after a woman died in a house fire Monday morning where the smoke detector did not work. Fire fighters are using Monday's tragedy to make sure everyone in the Rochester area is safe.

           

"We will offer to install smoke detectors in anybody's apartment if they want, I mean you know, we're trying to do everything we possibly can to have a safety device in every home in Rochester," said Rochester Fire Captain Dan McBride.
