OPENDOORMISSIONA2008-01-21-1200931981.jpgThe Open Door Mission of Rochester is doing its part to help keep Rochester's homeless off of the streets and out of the cold this season.  The Open Door Mission's "Hypothermia Shelter Program," is now in full swing. The mission has added extra beds to accommodate more people over the weekend and into next week as the temperatures drop.

"The Open Door Mission has been the daytime drop in center or warming center for individuals who have no place to go," says Ron Fox, the Mission’s executive director.

The program goes into effect whenever temperatures drop below twenty degrees.
