Wegmans reacts to school closings

ClosingSchools-Plasma2008-01-18-1200692440.jpg(ROCHESTER) - The Wegman family is one of the biggest benefactors for Catholic education in our area.  They have donated $25 million for Catholic school tuition assistance since 1995.

In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the Wegman family said it was worth every penny.  "Those children received a great education, and in that regard, we received a wonderful return on our investment."
