TOBACCOLEGISLATION2008-01-14-1200324912.jpgThere's a new state bill in the works which bans cigarettes at pharmacies across the state. It was introduced by Assemblyman Sam Hoyt, (D) Buffalo. Earlier this month Wegmans announced they will stop cigarette sales. Hoyt has called on Tops supermarkets and Wal-mart to follow Wegmans move to stop selling cigarettes. The legislation is being backed by New York's American Heart Association, Lung Association and the American Cancer Society.
