teen2008-01-06-1199668460.jpgIt's been nearly two weeks since a Penfield teenager went missing and now the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is getting involved in the search for Andrew Dezio. The 15 year old left his parent's home on December 23rd after an argument.  Due to his age and the amount of time that has passed since he was last seen the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is distributing a poster with Dezio’s picture and information.

Dezio plays hockey for Penfield High School. Saturday his teammates and friends passed out the missing person flyers in Fairport, in hopes that someone will come forward with information on his whereabouts.

“If anybody has any leads knows any friends Andrew has that we may not be aware of people that the police can contact and just try and find him and bring him home,” says Mark Basta, Andrew’s hockey coach.

“We just want him to come home safe  and he's a great hockey player a good friend and we just miss him,” says Nick Jarnagan, Andrew’s friend and teammate.

The Monroe County Sheriff's department says when the snow melts they may conduct another aerial search possibly on Monday or Tuesday. Anyone with information on Andrew 's case is asked to call 911.
