Kwanzaa celebrations underway

kwanzaafamilyday2007-12-27-1198800877.jpgKwanzaa celebrations are now underway in Rochester. Kwanzaa is a week-long festival celebrated in the United States which honors African American heritage. Here in Rochester, it was fun for the whole family at the Memorial Art Gallery. Hands-on art activities, as well as music and poetry performances were just part of the events going on today.


Kwanzaa is observed from December 26th to January 1st each year.
