salvationarmylogo2007-12-26-1198719612.jpgThe Salvation Army red kettles collected $485,000 this holiday season.

A good amount, yet $130,000 short of the Salvation Army's goal.

Cold weather, a poor economy and a bell ringer shortage are just some of the factors the Salvation Army says brought about the donation shortage.
You can still donate.  Just send a personal check to:
Salvation Army
PO Box 41210

Rochester, NY 14604

The checks must be postmarked by December 31.

You can also donate by clicking here for the Salvation Army website.
The final total of holiday donations will be announced in January.
