Chimney problem causes fire in Perinton

GREATWOODCIRFIRE2007-12-21-1198282145.jpgFirefighters in Perinton are investigating an early morning on Great Wood Circle. The fire broke out around 1:00 this morning. Officials say the house started to fill with smoke because of a problem with the chimney. A fire then started and spread from the first floor to the basement. Two people were inside the home at the time. They were not injured. The exact cause is still under investigation.
