Thursday's steady snowfall kept emergency crews busy, and even prompted several travel advisories. There were some nasty accidents, including a car that slid under a tractor trailor on 390, plenty of cars that slid into ditches, and one that even slid into a snowplow on East Avenue in Rochester. At one point there were travel advisories for no unnecessary travel in Livingston, Seneca and Steuben Counties. In Monroe County, the emergency dispatch center said they'd taken in more than 1,800 call for car accidents...200 of them from 9am to noon. Fortunately, none of those resulted in serious injuries.
