Do Not Call Registry

do-not-call2007-12-12-1197493971.gifEveryone's had that annoying phone call from a telemarketer right in the middle of dinner, that's why the Do Not Call registry was born. Now federal lawmakers want make that do not call list permanent.


Representatives in the House have passed a bill that would do away with having to re-register every five years. The bill now heads to the Senate. 146 million phone numbers are on the list.
