Not only did friends remember Ajana but also thank police who have been searching for suspects in her death.
"We commend City Hall and say to City Hall, don't spare any expense, continue doing what they're doing until civility is returned to this community," says Reverend Willie Davis, a friend of the Dortch family.
Family of Ajana Dortch say they have forgiven her killer, they say they just want somebody to come forward with information.
