News 8 Now and Fox First at Ten's Scott Hetsko thew down the challenge- could you guess when the first full four inches of snow would fall in our area? Well, it happened on December 2 when four inches were recorded at the Greater Rochester International Airport- the very day that 9 weather-savvy watchers guessed. Scott himself drew Eric Lutz of Walworth as the winner live during News 8 Now at 6 on Wednesday, December 5. Ontrac Equipment's Keith Perry was on hand to deliver the brand new Troy-Built snowblower to Lutz at our Humboldt St. studio, and not a moment too soon. Lutz says the machine he's been using is ready for retirement. "I bought it from Bob James at Ontrac Equipment 15 years ago brand new and I was getting ready to buy another one, then I won- it was perfect timing" says Lutz.
Thanks to Eric Lutz and all of our other contests who entered the First Snowfall Contest here on RochesterHomepage.net. Keep watching for even more great contests and prizes to come!
