Pedestrian injured in crash

PARKAVENUEACCIDENT2007-12-07-1197048372.jpgA pedestrian was struck and injured Friday morning in Rochester.

Police say the man, about 50 years old, was walking on Park Avenue.  When he crossed South Goodman Street, in the crosswalk, he was struck by a truck.

Police say the truck had a green light and was turning left from Park to Goodman.

The victim was taken to Strong Hospital for a head injury.  It appears he will survive.

No charges have been filed in the crash.
