vote2007-12-06-1196961424.jpgTaxpayers are heading to the polls Thursday for a big vote in Fairport. They're deciding on a major school renovation project that school officials say is necessary.

Four options are on the ballot. The most expensive:

A 30 million dollar upgrade to technology, safety and space at all Fairport schools.

Also on the ballot, renovations to district offices, Improvements to school parking, and upgrades to the Baumer Building and grounds facilities.

Residents can cast their ballots until nine tonight. If all four options are approved, it would call for a 33 dollar tax increase per 100,000 dollars of assessed value.
