By: Thad Brown
Updated: November 19, 2007
The Yanks were rumored to have interest in stealing Mike Lowell from Boston and making him a first baseman. In the end, Lowell will keep his current team and position. Lowell re-signed in Boston on Monday. His contract is three years for 37.5 million dollars. Also Monday, the Braves welcomed home a prodigal son. Tom Glavine inked a one-year, eight million dollar deal to pitch for the Braves. Glavine leaves the Mets after five seasons, but returns to Atlanta, where he played his first 16 years in the majors.
