Rochester School Board confirms pick for superintendent

BRIZARDDAY22007-11-20-1195573842.jpgIt's official. Monday night the Rochester School Board formally confirmed it wants Jean Claude Brizard to be the next Superintendent of Schools. The board authorized the same search firm that found Brizard to formally negotiate the terms of his contract. A vote on the contract is expected on November 29th. Brizard, who comes to Rochester from the New York City School District, will likely begin his job in Rochester in January.
