Rochester police are investigating two, unrelated homicides that happened on the same day. Rochester police were called to the intersection of Pierpont and Lextington Avenue around 9:00 p.m. Saturday night. Officers say two groups of people were having a dispute when shots were fired in a drive-by shooting. The homicide happened just one block away from where a mother of 4, Latasha Shaw was killed after a group of people attacked her on September 29th. Rochester police are also investigating another apparent homicide that happened earlier Saturday morning. The body of a man was found on the porch of a home at 269 Flower City Park around 3:00 a.m. Few details are known but neighbors in the area say the man may have been beaten to death.
