Daycare sex abuse arrest

Humby_Sean2007-11-14-1195057767.jpgA Rochester man is accused of molesting a young boy at daycare.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Sean Humby, 19, was arrested last weekend and charged with sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say a boy who previously attended the Love and Laughter daycare in Riga came forward and claimed Humby touched him inappropriately at the daycare two years ago.

Humby was an acquaintance of the owner of the daycare, located on Bromely Road.

The Sheriff's Office says Humby has admitted to the crime.  He's being held in the Monroe County Jail on $15,000 cash bail.

The investigation is ongoing, as police say a second potential victim has come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Section at 753-4900.
