MACEDONFIRE2007-11-14-1195057375.jpgSeveral fire departments were called to battle a fire that broke out at an abandoned house early this morning. This morning, the house is being demolished. Firefighters from Honeoye Falls, Mendon and Rush responded to the fire at 87 Sheldon Road in the town of Mendon around 12:30 a.m., the fire was reported out two hours later. The Honeoye Fire Department says the structure is used for firefighter training, and they were there early yesterday afternoon. However, they do not believe the 2-alarm fire started as a result of the training. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
