Rochester School Superintendent Chosen

The Rochester City School Board has chosen a new school Superintendent. He is Jean Claude Brizard. Brizard is Senior Executive for Policy and Sustainability in the New York City Department of Education. Brizard was selected following a nearly year-long search. He was chosen from among four finalists for the job. According to the school district, the board met in executive session last Thursday for final deliberations. Brizard will be introduced in Rochester Wednesday.
