Shaw was murdered on September 29th at Dewey Avenue and Driving Park Avenue in Rochester. Police say she was trying to break up a fight when she stabbed to death in front of a crowd of people.

But more than a month later, no one has been arrested.  However, City Councilman Adam McFadden tells News 8 many civilians have been searching for clues to help police solve the case, and their efforts may be working.

McFadden said some have come forward with information about Shaw's murder, including a videotape that he says was recorded the night of the incident. McFadden won't say what's on the tape, but he said it's now in the hands of police.
