Pregnant woman jumps from truck during police chase

A pregnant Rochester woman escaped serious injury early this morning after she jumped from a truck during a police chase. Orleans County Sheriffs deputies say the chase started on Route 31 near Fancher Road in the Town of Murray. They say 23-year-old Ashley Sizemore stole a Ford pickup truck and was spotted driving erratically, speeding and crossing into the opposite lane when Sizemore reached the Town of Gaines, she jumped out of the driver side window. She was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital for an ankle injury, her unborn baby is okay. Sizemore faces several vehicle and traffic charges.
