Car ends up halfway in pool

“It sounded kind of like a garbage can rolling down the road, and I looked out the window, and I saw the car airborne go halfway into the pool,” Owen said.
The Cadillac went off the side of the road, hit a sign, then drove about 200 yards through a field before ending up teetering over the edge of the pool.
"He traveled a good distance and missed the house, missed the vehicles and went through a brick wall,” Owen said.
Owen, a lieutenant with the Rochester Fire Department, told his wife to call 911 as he ran out to help the elderly man behind the wheel.
“I shut the car off, made sure the car wasn't going to go into the pool,” he said, “then pulled him out. He was unresponsive and I did CPR on him.
