The home on Wolcott Avenue went up in flames early Friday morning. Police have yet to talk to 28-year-old Brian Friedman who was renting the home. They say he ran to a neighbor's house looking a fire extinguisher. When fire crews arrived, they found gallons of chemicals in the basement which they believed were used to grow marijuana. Police say Freedman left the scene when he realized he couldn't stop the fire.
No word yet on what sparked the fire. The home was a total loss.
