Bishop Kearney teleconference with NASA astronaut

Local students are getting a chance to learn about space from one of the experts. Bishop Kearney was one of several local schools participating in a unique event. Tuesday morning, they got to have a teleconference with NASA astronaut Sandra Magnus from the
"I think it's really cool with this new technology to be able to be sitting here in the library and actually be talking to an astronaut and getting information and also hearing what other schools are doing, I think that's really great," says senior Jerome Thomas.
Today, astronauts finished an ambitious 3 day project to install a giant new piece of space hardware setting the stage to complete the International Space Station.
