Tewksbury pleads guilty to rape charges

tewskburyarraigned2007-10-26-1193416537.jpgThe former director of operations for the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance Service has pleaded guilty to rape charges in court. Jeff Tewksbury pleaded guilty to third degree rape Friday morning before Judge John Connell.

He was alleged to having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl who was part of the ambulance service's Explorer program. Tewksbury is slated to be sentenced on January 4th.
