Southbound lanes of 390 re-open today

If you're planning on traveling south this weekend, there is some good news for drivers.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 390 in the towns of Groveland, West Sparta and North Dansville, Livingston County, are re-opened to all traffic. The southbound travel lanes have been closed, detouring traffic onto State Route 36, since June while crews worked to resurface the highway in that area.
Rumble strips were also installed along the edge of the pavement to alert drivers drifting towards the side. The road closure was part of the State's $9.6 million capital construction project to improve the condition of the roadway.
