Early morning fire on North Clinton Avenue

Rochester firefighters acted quickly to put out an early morning fire at 253 North Clinton Avenue just before 5:00 a.m.Firefighters say they could see smoke coming out of the front of the building when they arrived. The fire was on the first floor of the three-story brick structure.
Crews had the fire put out in about 5 minutes. One person living inside the building is being helped by the American Red Cross. The cause of the fire in under investigation.
