Police release some details in Irondequoit murder suicide

Police have now released the names of the three people involved in a deadly murder suicide in Irondequoit Monday. They are 37-year-old Sandra Gokey and 45-year-old Christopher Gokey.

According to neighbors the couple had been estranged. The third victim was 60-year-old David Winters. Police will only say at this point that Winters was an acquaintance.


All three were fatally stabbed Monday at Kellwood Drive in Irondequoit. At this point police are not saying which person was the killer.


A 10-year-old boy who may have witnessed the deaths is now in the care of child protective services.
