Scuba diver injured at Sandy Creek

SCUBAINCIDENT22007-10-19-1192827350.jpgA serious scuba accident off the waters of Lake Ontario. The sheriff's department says two divers were in the water near the Sandy Creek Boach Launch in Hamlin this afternoon. They were trying to recover lost equipment for SUNY Brockport, when one of the divers got into trouble. He was found on the lake's bottom, with his diver mask off, not breathing. He was pulled onto the boat, where others performed CPR. The man was taken to Lakeside Hospital.
