A 12-year-old Steuben County boy is dead after a farming accident.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday. State police say Emanuel Yoder was working on his family farm in the Town of Woodhull when he lost control of the horse-drawn wagon. He was thrown off and rendered unconscious. The horses returned back and trampled Yoder, running him over with the wagon.

His younger brothers ages ten and four were riding in the bed of the wagon. They were able to get off safely.
