Just over a decade ago, the Flower City's corporate ties to the games were just as much of a source of civic pride as the myriad of athletes who called the Rochester area home. 

At the time, Rochester boasted of being the only American city which was home to 3 of the 12 so called TOP sponsors, a distinction only attained with a committment of cash, goods, and services in excess of $40-million.
