Senator Joe Robach and Senator George Maziarz are hosting a hearing in Rochester to explore strategies to help keep kids in school, and ways to stop problems before they begin.

Robach and Maziarz hope to come up with a plan to help at-risk from becoming part of the growing problem of youth violence.

The event started this morning at 9:00 a.m. It continues until 5:00 p.m. at the Monroe County Office Building on Main Street. Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks is also participating in the hearing.
