Unity Heath Thursday opened up its new sleep disorders center.
The facility is located at Clinton Crossings on Westfall Road in Brighton.
Unity spent $840,000 to upgrade the center.
It has 12 suites for overnight studies and it was designed with comfort in mind.
"What we've found from patients and also just our technicians here that patients noted they actually sleep better when they have a more comfortable environment, when it's a little homier, and so the quality of our sleep center studies are significantly better with an improved environment," said Dr. Alice Hoagland, Behavior Sleep Medicine.
As more patients are expected at the sleep center, Unity is creating five new jobs.
