The competition was held in Fort Lee, Virginia, where 26 competed in tests of physical fitness, orienteering and military knowledge.

"Oh yeah it was great. There was so many amazing non commissioned officers that were out there competing....it was a shock when they announced my name, just being able to work with those amazing individuals and any one of us could win it on any given week," says Staff Sgt. Seifert.

Staff Sergeant Seifert has worked in Washington, DC for the past few years, including one year in the Pentagon.
